Coles Liquor endorses the National Product Catalogue

Coles Liquor has been working closely with GS1 Australia to unlock greater efficiency in their supply chain for the benefit of Coles and its suppliers.

The main objective of Coles Liquor is to streamline electronic data exchange with its suppliers. To fulfil this requirement, it selected the National Product Catalogue as the solution.

Coles Liquor is now committed to receiving key information from suppliers via the National Product Catalogue as it enables efficient eCommerce trading practice.

The National Product Catalogue is GS1 Australia’s data synchronisation service for the Australia and New Zealand markets. This data synchronisation solution allows you to enter, validate, store and maintain all your product, pricing and other related trade information in a single location.

It promotes greater efficiency in the supply chain by facilitating the exchange of accurate, complete and up-to-date data information with our trading partners.

“Coles Liquor Group chose to integrate GS1 Australia’s National Product Catalogue all the way through our enterprise level systems to achieve accurate master data,” said John Bacon, Head of Supply Chain & Merchandise Support.

Coles is now actively encouraging all of their key trading partners to populate their product and price content into the National Product Catalogue and publish their catalogues to Coles Liquor.
