Recognising that a diverse and inclusive culture drives greater employee loyalty, better decision-making and higher levels of innovation, the drinks industry is passionate about supporting members on their journey of culture development. The purpose of the Embrace Difference Council is to establish the drinks industry as a destination of choice by facilitating awareness, challenging perceptions and building practices that attract, develop and retain diverse industry talent.

The Council aims to educate, inspire and support member companies foster inclusive and diverse practices, with priority focus areas championed through three platforms of:

  • Create Difference – creating initiatives to ensure Gender Equality is a strategic priority for all member companies.

  • See Difference – through tool-kits and targets, supporting members with information on how to improve organisational Diversity.

  • Leverage Difference – educating programs to develop Inclusive leaders, while communicating and celebrating best practice.
