About the speakers
Breeanna Brock
Breeanna Brock was the first female CEO to be appointed in the AFL. In her 11-year tenure in female football, she has cemented Queensland’s reputation as one of the powerhouse states for women’s AFL. She established the Brisbane Lions inaugural women’s team in 2017, and since then the team has enjoyed unrivalled success, featuring in five of the seven Grand Finals, as well as two Premierships.
Awarded the AFL Football Woman of the Year award in 2018 and inducted into the AFL Queensland Hall of Fame in 2023, Breeanna’s work in driving female representation in sport, has led to creating a more level, gender-balanced, playing field for Women’s Football in Queensland.
Chris Lynn
Chris Lynn is a dynamic Australian cricketer renowned for his explosive batting style, particularly in T20 formats. Chris first rose to prominence in domestic cricket, representing Queensland and the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League (BBL), where his ability to clear boundaries with ease became his trademark.
Chris’ international career began with his debut for Australia in 2014, and though injuries have occasionally hampered his progress, his impact in franchise cricket around the world has been significant. He has played in various leagues, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he has been a valuable asset for teams like Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.
Off the field, Chris is admired for his commitment to fitness and his passion for the game and his contributions to T20 cricket have earned him a reputation as one of the format's most entertaining and formidable players. He is currently playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League (BBL).
