We have an exciting 12-month, fixed-term (covering a parental leave vacancy) opportunity within our QLD Commercial team for an Account Manager to join our high performing group. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for providing representation of Pernod Ricard Australia’s product portfolio and outstanding customer service to on and off premise accounts and will look after the Townsville and Cairns region.

Key duties include:

  • Account management

  • Achieving sales, distribution and promotional objectives for outlets

  • Securing new business development opportunities

  • Identifying and reporting on competitor and trade activity

  • Develop business plans for customers

  • Creating tailor made promotions and activations in on premise accounts.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven sales experience in the Liquor industry or FMCG, and/or experience in the on-premise sales environment would be advantageous.

  • Your passion for wine / spirits / cocktails will be highly regarded,

  • Passionate about the local community and the Liquor Industry in their market

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline would be advantageous however not essential

  • RSA certification

  • Key understanding of current market and industry trends

  • A willingness to source new business and unlock growth opportunities
