We are looking for a commercially minded professional to join our Commercial Strategy team based in Sydney!


About the Role


Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy, you will offer support to the wider team by providing input into Innovation, Pricing and Strategy, and Shopper intelligence, provision of analytical support, collaboration with the sales and marketing teams and assisting to bring our category and shopper insights to life, with a primary focus on the Spirits & RTDs categories.


Key responsibilities include (not limited to):




  • Collaborate with the Spirits/RTD Category Manager and sales teams to develop content to populate key customer engagements

  • Analysis of our Retailer’s performance to identify key areas of opportunity

  • Provision of performance summaries to the Sales & Marketing teams and identify opportunities for improved performance and increased market share.

  • Monitor, analyse and provide feedback on competitor activity (including NPD and BTL)

  • Assist in preparing monthly reporting commentary for Senior Management and the Sales teams

  • Leverage BI dashboards to identify category opportunities

  • Provision of support to the wider Sales and Marketing teams to include a category lens to their reporting requirements.


About You:


You will have a commercial mindset coupled with a positive and can-do attitude and a strong attention to details. You will work well under pressure, possess strong communication and organisational skills, relish a challenge and have a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.


Education Required:




  • Tertiary qualifications in either Marketing, Commerce or a Business discipline


Experience / Background:




  • AC Nielsen/ Aztec SCAN track software (working knowledge or similar analytical ability)

  • Sound proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Natural intuitiveness

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Previous Field Sales/ FMCG/ Liquor Sales/ Marketing experience would be advantageous

  • Previous experience using Shopper data (ex: Quantium) or Microsoft Power BI would be advantageous

  • RSA Certification desirable
