About the Role
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective digital programs with the objective to drive customer conversion in an assigned channel.
You will lead best-in-class digital activation and digital proposition development, each focused on building brand salience & engagement, influence, advocacy and/or customer conversion (depending on brand objectives). Furthermore, you will be expected to manage multiple stakeholders and partner with retailer, customers and the sales team to create a win-win digital program. In addition, the eCommerce Manager will proactively manage internal resources and agency partners in order to deliver multiple coinciding projects.
Partner with Marketing & Sales colleagues to develop Digital Programs with our Multichannel Retail Customers, that amplify our brands and increase equity, salience and/or advocacy.
Manage day-to-day digital initiatives in conjunction with the associated PRA Sales colleague and retail partner network that will increase shopper conversion and consumer engagement at and beyond the point-of-purchase.
Translate business objectives and brand purpose into digitally led briefs resulting in concepts, propositions and content that positively impact business drivers.
Be shopper focused and data-lead to track and report the outcomes of these initiatives – building a benchmark of program effectiveness –
Test, Learn and Optimise program mechanics to ensure strong ROI and efficiency/effectiveness according to business goals. Must be passionate about measuring all activity- be performance focused and champion digital capabilities and performance.
Drive digital competitive advantage. Partner with Marketing Teams, Sales Team and retail partners to accelerate our mobile/digital and experience agenda, create cutting-edge, innovative digital shopper and s – e.g. NFC, mobile, programmatic, social, web, etc. Must drive programming that has positive impact on the brand experience and/or business, ultimately creating competitive advantage for Pernod Ricard Australia in the retail or digital/mobile space.
Effectively leverage Agency partnerships. Work in partnership with the Digital & Consumer Planning team for best-in-class agency partners and monitor key agencies/suppliers to ensure that their work is results-driven and linked to Pernod Ricard Australia business goals.
The eCommerce Manager role involves practical operational delivery with a focus on tactical execution. Therefore, the job holder must be a skilled digital practitioner who can operate as a technical project manager and solve problems creatively. The job holder will demonstrate a high degree of self-sufficiency and be able to work on individual projects, as well as those that require working with teams
Tertiary qualifications relevant to discipline
Experience / Background:
Significant Digital retail/conversion experience
Proven experience and technical understanding across a wide range of digital marketing disciplines – including social, web, mobile, search, content, eCRM and data management – as well as a comprehensive understanding of best practice in web design and development.
Evidence of self-drive and self-initiated achievements
Demonstrates engaging and emotionally intelligent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills required
Demonstrable experience in managing several digital projects simultaneously; excellent project management skills.
Stakeholder engagement - a collaborative, consensus-building approach to managing both internal and external partners.
Experience of working in a digital agency environment or digital marketing in house team
Experience in a global or regional structured organization
Experience managing third party digital/social/mobile agencies or content creators.
Experience working on the digital publishing side or content development is a plus.
Experience with Photoshop, basic HTML/CSS skills, Adobe Creative Suite or other video and photo editing skills for content creation are a plus.Experience in sales environment would be advantageous.
