Exciting opportunity for a Junior Analyst/Accountant to work for the world’s co-leader in the Wine and Spirits Industry.

Due to an internal promotion, we are on the hunt for a new, driven and dynamic team member to join us for an entry level, 12-month fixed term opportunity.

About the Role:

The Junior Business Analyst – Brand Owner, is a broad role with wide scope, working as a part of two different finance teams:

 

Business Analysis

  • You will provide financial support and analysis to the Marketing teams. Through regular communication and collection of key financial information, you will assist them to effectively manage budget and strategic plans. 

  • You will assist with Group Affiliate Sales reporting of Australian Branded products.

Assurance

  • You will work across projects such as policies, system implementation and improvement initiatives to ensure internal controls are appropriately implemented and are operating effectively.

 

 

Supported by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team, you will provide timely support and advice and have direct responsibility in liaising with appropriate business units to ensure reporting is accurate. You will bring keen interest and aptitude in the Digital world to support the transformation of finance processes and your ability to build trust and rapport quickly, coupled with your excellent time management skills will be key to your success.

 

 

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce, preferably Accounting and/or Finance

  • High levels of initiative, motivation and willingness to learn

  • Excellent capability to build relationships quickly with senior management and external stakeholders

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in Excel, Power BI, JD Edwards advantageous

  • On your CPA/CA certification journey
