Tuesday, 29 October 2024, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm AEST
Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Bicentennial Drive Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127

About the event

2D barcodes make traceability a breeze, no matter what it is you do. Learn how experts are harnessing the next-generation in barcode technology for your industry and supply chain.

This event, hosted by the National GS1 Traceability Advisory Group (NGTAG), will provide the opportunity to unpack and discuss:

  • What is a GS1 powered QR code using GS1 Digital Links, and how can it support traceability and trade
  • What the multiple use QR codes powered by GS1 are, and how do they differ from your everyday QR code
  • See how these next generation barcodes can be used as an enabling technology to share secure, user defined data.
  • See how you can achieve trust in digital traceability, deliver confidence in claims for sustainability and provenance that can withhold regulatory compliance and help deliver price premium.

The presentations will share learnings from several case studies, across multiple use cases and industry sectors.

Speakers include:

  • Caroline Barrett – Director of Primary Industries, GS1 Australia
  • Brett Hyland – National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA)
  • Shalini Valecha – Australian Food & Grocery Council, NGTAG Co-Chair
  • David Wheeler - Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels (ACRS)
