A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us bright and early at Doltone House in Sydney to hear CUB CEO Danny Celoni share his insights on macro-economic trends and their impact on the alcohol industry. He discussed the crucial decisions necessary to adapt these trends for customers, consumers, and shoppers, and touched on the teams and culture they've built within CUB.
Danny generously shared the remarkable changes within CUB that led to phenomenal success in the Supplier of the Year Award at the 2023 Australian Drinks Awards. Under his leadership, both business divisions of Asahi Beverages, CUB, and CUB Premium Beverages, have achieved remarkable success, including being crowned joint winners of the highly coveted Supplier of the Year Award at the 2023 Australian Drinks Awards. Additionally, CUB clinched the Category Management Award for the second consecutive year, while CUB Premium Beverages proudly received the Supply Chain Management Award.
Since being appointed CEO of CUB in February 2022, Danny has made significant strides in accelerating growth, driving a multi-beverage portfolio strategy, transforming customer relationships, and premiumising the company's portfolio. He has also focused on building robust partnerships with retail and on-premise partners and growing categories.
