The Drinks Association is thrilled to welcome back Manildra Group as an Award Partner of the 2019 Australian Drinks Awards.

Manildra will sponsor the Fan Favourite category at the Awards, which rewards consumer engagement across spirits, beer, wine, RTDs and cider.

“Manildra Group is delighted to return again as a sponsor of the Drinks Awards,” said Product Manager Debbie Forster. “We were incredibly proud to sponsor last year’s awards and celebrate with so many dynamic and inspiring members of such a thriving industry. We’re really looking forward to engaging and promoting excellence in the Australian drinks industry at this year’s awards with our customers and the wider industry.”

Australia’s top 200 brands are automatically entered in Fan Favourite, with the trophy handed to the brand in each drinks category that cumulatively scores highest across brand metrics (awareness, trial, regular consumption, most often and favourite).

The winners are determined through a nationally representative consumer survey of 4000 respondents.

“The Fan Favourite award is an immense honour, celebrating a brand consumers ‘most like to be seen with’,” Forster said. “It recognises a brand that undoubtedly has excelled in innovation and resonated with fans across Australia.”

Manildra Group joined The Drinks Association as an Associate Member last year. The world-class distillery produces grain neutral spirits for a range of craft and big brand beverages – including vodka, gin, blended whiskies, liquor and read-to-drink packaged alcohol.

“We have mastered a truly neutral-tasting and odourless premium product, the blank canvas base from which craft and large-scale distillers can create world-class spirits,” Forster explained.

The Australian Drinks Awards are an initiative by The Drinks Association to celebrate excellence in the drinks industry. The 2019 awards will be held on August 22.

“We can’t wait to join this year’s customers, members and winners to celebrate the achievements of the thriving drinks industry,” Forster concluded.
