The Innovation & Packaging Data Workstream focuses on circular economy and packaging. Its purpose is to work collaboratively with suppliers and members to support carbon emissions reduction, improve packaging sustainability and promote a circular economy across the drinks industry.
The workstream will achieve this by:
- Streamlining annual packaging data collection for APCO compliance.
- Reducing reporting burden for suppliers and Drinks Association members.
- Preparing the industry for the potential introduction of an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme.
